The Carson designed M18 features a 180 degree circular pivot with thumb stud detents, ample friction grooves for sure grip, and the “Carson Flipper” which speeds opening and acts as a blade guard. Combine these with the unique blade shape and aluminum handles with G10 inlays and you have a powerful knife with a true personality.
The swedge ground, recurved spear point AUS 8 stainless steel blade with offers superior edge retention. Teflon® bearings at the blade pivot assure velvet smooth, quick blade action. Handles are precision CNC machined 6061- T6 aluminum. A 420J2 stainless steel locking liner is inset in one handle, and a hard anodized 6061 T6 aluminum back spacer is used, all assembled with superior Torx® fasteners. Castellations around the butt on the handle greatly increase security and tactile awareness.
The M18 is available in two sizes. All models are available with red, blue or black textured G10 scales, precision inlaid into the handle to increase purchase. The Lake And Walker Knife Safety (LAWKS®) effectively makes the folder into a fixed blade when engaged. Includes a removable custom Teflon-plated stainless steel clothing/gear clip.
